GARDEN MOSAICSTEACHERS-PARTICIPANTS’ NEWSLETTER
We are the teachers from Russia. We live and work in Tomsk. Tomsk is a beautiful ancient Siberian city. We teach different subjects at Tomsk gymnasium #24. There are a lot of talented students who do research in ecology and take part in nature conservation projects.
Let us introduce ourselves:

Hello Nadezda, Tatyana and Margarita:
I am glad that this day finally came! No more frontiers to be able to exchange knowledge (at least for me since I am not very good at technology!). I have a couple of questions: How is that your school has the name of "Gymnasium"?. It is because the emphasis is on Gym, aside of the regular subjects?. I know that your country produces extreamly good athletes.
And maybe a question for Margarita. How you got a name in Spanish?

Dear Milagros Alegre, thank you for your question.
Gymnasium is a special school with deep educational program in some subjects. For example, our gymnasium specializes in foreign languages.
You know, Russia is multi-national country with different religious. And it is not surprising, that you can meet different names in this country. Many people have foreign names in Russia, and Tomsk in not an exception.
